Volunteer

We’re looking for volunteers!  Volunteer for our 2016 Season

Volunteers make it happen!

Kringleville survives through the committed work of volunteers of all ages! Join in projects like The Parade of Lights, Kringleville, holiday decorating, and more! Many different teams get together all year long, and we always welcome new friends to the table. Feel free to send a private message through Facebook, email us, or stop by next time you’re downtown.

Examples of other ways to get involved:

For a day: spend an hour or two at one of our many events, manning the registration desk, creating a float for the parade, decorating a display window, helping kids with Santa visits.

For a project: meet like-minded, caring teams of people who plan, schedule, and otherwise coordinate what goes on behind the scenes to make Kringleville such a great place. If you love the holidays and love to make a difference in your community, we have a place for you.

For a year: make career and community connections to last a lifetime through deeper involvement behind the scenes in one of our four concentration areas: Promotional events and materials, Design and aesthetic planning, Economic strategy and workforce improvements, and Outreach, volunteer development and recruiting. Close to a dozen work groups meet monthly to shape our direction, and we love to see new faces!

For your club or organization: Waterville Main Street currently has partnerships with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, Waterville Creates!, Sunrise and noontime Rotary Clubs, Healthy Northern Kennebec Community Wellness Coalition, Kennebec Messalonskee Trails, Active Community Environment Team, Colby and Thomas College, Mid-Maine Technical Center, Youth Empowerment through Employment (YETE), and the Waterville Garden Club, to name a few! We offer speaking opportunities to address your group and offer meaningful ways to work together.
